How much does it cost to attend the AIM Walk 2017?

The AIM Walk 2017 is free.

What activities will be available at the AIM Walk 2017?

The AIM walk 2017 will have plethora of activities available. A few will include bounce houses for children, Resource fair & vendors, sensory tent, communication tent, petting zoo, face painting, silent auction, food truck row, one mile fun walk and more.

How can I register for the walk?

You can register to participate in the walk or create a team on our main website.

How far is the walk?

The walk is one mile. 

Where will the 1 mile walk be held?

The walk will be held on the Horton Farms property. The road is only accessible through the property, so outside traffic will not be present.

Can you attend the AIM Walk without participating in the 1 mile walk?

Yes, all families are welcome to come participate in any capacity they are comfortable with.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcomed at the event as long as they are on a leash.

Are strollers allowed?

Strollers are welcomed at the event.

Will there be AIM Walk T-shirts available for purchase?

Yes, AIM will have Walk T-shirts available for purchase at the event.

Will restrooms be provided at Horton Farms?

Yes, there will indoor bathrooms available inside of the Sierra Grand Hall.

Will an adult changing station be available on the property?

No, the only changing facility available on the property will be the restroom.

Will parking be available?

Yes, parking will be available close to the event on the property of Horton Farms.

Will food be available at the AIM 2017?

Food will be available for purchase from food truck vendors on the property. 

Will sensory safe areas be available?

The AIM Walk 2017 is equipped with 3 sensory safe areas:

  1. Jarvis Pediatric Therapies will host a sensory tent for families to enjoy at the walk. The tent will be enclosed with tent walls and will feature sensory equipment to help regulate children.
  2. The picnic area for the walk will be located on the south side of the property and will be separated from the main activities by the Sierra Grand Hall. This area will have areas to sit and eat in a quieter environment.
  3. Located in the same area as the picnic area, AIM will provide 3 quiet tents were families can individually walk in to take care of children, brush, etc.

Will Headphones be available?

No, headphones will not be provided by AIM.

What safety measures are available?

The property of Horton farms is located 12 miles from downtown Bentonville in a secluded 200 acre farm. The farm is set back away from any main roads. AIM has also set up volunteers with Sheep Dog that will serve as a security team to help keep children in the safe areas.

Is seating available?

Yes, seating is available in our picnic area located south of the Sierra Grand Hall.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

The majority of the event will be held outdoors. The silent auction and restrooms will be located indoors in the Sierra Grand Hall.

Will the event be held if it is raining?

Yes, the event will continue unless storms are present with a lightening threat.

Where will the silent auction be held?

The silent auction will be held inside of the Sierra Grand Hall.

What forms of payment will be accepted at the silent auction?

Cash, Check and Credit Card will be accepted.
